Our goal is to ensure that employees stay on top of their game and offer the best solutions to our customers. To make learning even more visible, we decided to award some of our employees who have distinguished themselves for creating successful learning and teaching strategies, multiplying their valuable knowledge inside and outside the company. Meet our Learning Heroes 2022 and their contribution to our success.

LEARNING HEROES 2022

1st Dominik Sandor – He started working at T-Systems in 2014 with almost zero IT experience. After a lot of effort and a fantastic learning curve, nowadays he works as a Senior ICT engineer/DevOps engineer, developing a web-based application that has great impact on how his colleagues tackle everyday tasks.

2nd Jessica Clark – For Jessica, learning is a natural part of life. This is what she lives by trying to learn something new every day by for example reading interesting articles, blog posts, books or attending exciting meetups. But that’s by far not enough. She also spreads her knowledge and encourages especially other women to do the same.

3rd Lisa Reinhardt – She works in the Public field as a Service Delivery Manager. As a young talent she takes every opportunity she can get - even if this means stepping out of her comfort zone. This thirst for learning led her to become one of the first members of Generation Tomorrow, which provided a platform for young talents to innovate and facilitate change through their own projects.

1st Martin Schenk – He is a network architect in Open Telekom Cloud. Whenever he wants to learn something, he digs deeper until he's at the core and able to understand how things works. Then he makes a point of sharing everything he's learned.

2nd Orsolya Szalay – She believes in leading by example and feels herself responsible for her own self-education as much as the development of the members of her team. Therefore, the continuous development of the professionals of her team is one of her main goals.

3rd Ivan Gudymenko – In his role as IT security architect and subject matter lead, he passes on the knowledge he has gained from the project business, from innovation activities, cooperation with research institutions and also self-training. His students provided positive feedback on his supervision.

1. Platz: Andreas Grau, Claudia Matuschek, Katja Paul, Tim Gloe & Team – They are the developers of the #youlearnSAP qualification program for SAP consultants. Feedback has always been intensively requested and they make sure that individual needs are served.

2nd Thorsten Neumann, Susan Schur, Laura Schubert & Team – They are always trying out some new tools and learning more about new topics. This can be very different things like the Simple Show video tool, Miro, Lego Serious Play or also topics like agility or OKRs, which normally weren’t linked to their occupational field.

3rd Gergely Tanács & Martin Würflein – They have developed a ground-breaking online collaboration tool, that was designed to be an inner source learning project, where everyone can learn from the source code and have a chance to try out modern technologies by contributing.

At T-Systems all employees have our complete support to endure their passion for learning, developing new ideas and expanding their projects even further!

If lifelong learning is what drives you too, join our team.

The Learning Hero Award was awarded in three categories: Multiplier, Individual and Teams.
